Part 1 - Kalinga and the Epiphany of Ashoka-
As the last man fell and Ashoka stood victorious, 100,000 slain. The horror of war and the epiphany of rule's responsibility fell upon him.
Part 2 - Induction of the Nine-
The Emperor deliberated and devised a strategy to be employed across the vast expanse of man's future generations. A secret covenant of guardians each assigned a book from one of the nine major paths of learning. These great tombs would be protected at all costs, to be used in the face of only the gravest sociological peril and always in secret.
Part 3- Quest of the Nine.
And so the Nine crossed oceans and passed by generations along the seas of time. Always watching, forever vigilant- both scholar and sentinel. Guardians of a sacred trust and the fate of all mankind.
Part 4 - Destiny and the breath of Nine-
You will never know where or who they are and you will never know why but, if you are keen of wit, you may sense them, playing from the secretive wings, to initiate change in trends, struggle and breakthroughs.
The fate of man seems uncertain and so until we walk as one, all of us united upon a path golden and transcending, the nine will continue their sacred work from the dark of myth and the play of shadow.

Fervency began in mid-2010 with Thomas Blæsbjerg composing, analogues/synth and strings and co-collaborator Calvin Batley
on vocals, lyrics and strings.
With a sound and vibe reminiscent of and as diverse as acts like Depeche mode and Faith No More, the musical landscapes are broad and bound together by the red line of the band, musically and lyrically, on a bed of alternative rock.
